Azeez Omogoriola Okemati

Born 15th July 1967, a native of Ikorodu, Lagos State. He was a student of Oriwu College, Ikorodu, class of 1984.

He attended Federal Fire Training School, Surulere, Lagos from 1987–1990 and later attended Ansul Fire Training School in Germany in 2002.

He joined Matson & Co. Nigeria Limited in 1985 as a technician and was appointed Managing Director and Technical Coordinator in 2009, a position he holds to date. He is also the CEO of Dragon Fire Protection Nigeria Limited.

Alhaji Fasasi Adetayo Okemati (Late)

Founder of Matson & Co. Nigeria Limited • 1968 – 1979

Born 4th February 1928, Alhaji Fasasi was a native of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

A business philanthropist, importer and exporter, he served as Vice Chairman of C.C.I.B Brussels from 1964–1979 and President of Comptoir Commercial & Industriel Afrique (C.C.I.A) from 1978–1979.

He founded Matson & Co. Nigeria Limited in 1968, establishing the foundation on which the company’s Nigerian operations were built.

Guy Bertholet (Late)

General Manager, Matson & Co. Nigeria Limited • 1979 – 2008

Born 15th April 1948 to a Catholic family in Brussels, Belgium.

A graduate of Economics from Leuven University, Belgium, he was appointed General Manager of C.C.I.A in 1974 and subsequently became General Manager of Matson & Co. Nigeria Limited from 1979–2008.

His tenure represents a significant period in the development and continuity of Matson's Nigerian operations.

Damilola Adetayo Okemati

General Manager • December 2017 – Date

Born 17th April 1992, a native of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

He is a graduate of Computer Engineering from Olabisi Onabanjo University, completing his degree in 2015. He completed his NYSC from November 2016 to October 2017.

He joined Matson as General Manager in December 2017 and continues in that role to date, contributing to the company's continuing operations and growth.
